Speed Intensifier vs fakeclockup ???

are there any coding experts or whatever that can say which is better
or did somebody just renamed the fakecloup
btw fakeclockup should be in the main page of cydia along with sbsettings
the creator isnt getting any props
this is in the top 5 cydia tweaks/app of all time
made my old iphone 3g feel new again

Those apps were probably already open, that video doesn't tell too much imo.
From these two points in the description tells me that it does not increase processor speed and is probably the same as FakeClockUp.
o Doesn't drain batteries
o Maintain same speed throughout applications
It is free. Here is what you need to do;
1. Open Cydia
2. Manage/edit/add source

1.4x seems best for me as well.
Just saw this youtube vid of Speed Intensifier which shows the adjustments and it just goes from 1/4x - 1/3x - 1/2x - 0x - 2x - 3x etc..
There is no 1.4x or 1.6x or even 2.5x adjustments.

For me, since I use 1.4x, FakeClockUp is better since it has more choices of speed.
Apart from that they basically do the same job at speeding up the animations.
But who knows which dev will continue support if upcoming firmwares break their tweaks.
Its good to have options.

What does the battery warning say? Do you get it immediately after using the two fastest speeds?
Also what device are you using?
Huh? I didn't get this warning. My battery does seem to be dying pretty quick, maybe it is this tweak.
it isn't. As researched in the Fakeclockup thread the plugin it self is only a tiny mobilesubtrate addon.
I know this thread is a little old, but I just heard about Speed Intensifier today. I know a lot of people here really like FakeClockUp, and Springtomize even has a speedup option for animations.
I have been using Springtomize, but I would like more options to speed up certain things while leaving others at normal speed, like the spinning wheel and the wiggling icons.
I also don't want anything that is a major drain on the battery.

I did not try it, but I have read several places that it does more than FakeClockUp. FakeClockUp is just that, fake. This is supposed to actually speed up your device. But I'm skeptical that they are the same also, thats why I never tried it. I'm happy with FakeClockUp.
