Hey guys,

I've had my iPod Touch 3G ( 32GB ) for almost two yearS now, and it's a great device, but it's starting to feel really sluggish and slow. Are there anyways of making it faster.

It always seems to slug on increasing the sound , and turning the sound down. Also it slugs to switch between music, and load pages on safari. It's currently running the most up to date firmware version. Any suggestions ?

Or should I save up for a potential new iPod Touch or iPhone ?

Dave

The best you can do is either to reinstall iOS (restore feature in iTunes) or to downgrade the operating system (if you know how to).

Personally, I'd recommend saving up for a new one.

Get a free RAM app for checking your RAM and see how much ram you have the average for ipod touch 3 is about at least 80 mb. That is if you don't have that many apps opening.
