So far from mine, there are subtle differences, mine is a DVT stage prototype, so everything is all working, ready to be released. Since it was built in August of 05', I believe that the computer was used by software companies to perfect apps for the Quad core. So far, there have been a few bugs that I have noticed, like not waking from sleep properly, and no going to sleep properly. Most of these issues may be due to the PRAM being old, but who knows!!!!

Yeah I agree... It was possibly used by companies such as Adobe, etc. Sounds great.

Yeah it really makes me happy owning it! It has been an amazing improvement over my DP 2.0GHz, which is now used as a server

It sure should make you happy! :) I'v ebeen to looking to upgrade to a Quad, but then again, price... and I might upgrade my graphics card to a 6600 or a FX 4500. :) What do you have in yours?

I got my Quad this summer for $75 with free shipping! And its a prototype so its worth a bit more than the normal Quads!!!!!
$75 isn't bad. Looking at eBay right now I'm glad I picked up an upgraded first-gen Mac Pro for less than the price of most (if not all) of those Quads

I have a 6600 in mine, which is stock. A FX4500 would be nice, just have to find one for a good price! If you have an AGP based PMG5 you can use a PCIe graphics card like an FX4500.

Oh yeah... I always forget whether my Mac is AGP or PCIe... It's AGP, so I'm going for the 6600. I heard it's good. :) I want to replace my ADC Display with an Aluminium Display (DVI one). :)

Edit: Oh Wait! :p

I've picked up a G5 dual 1.8ghz 2003 model.
It's running quite smooth, it's being used to play Minecraft on and basic web browsing.
