This is the dumbest thread. Modifying the phone obviously isn't going to make the network magically faster. DUH! Get an iPhone 5 if your iPhone 4S is too slow.

It isn't the dumbest thread, this guy probably just saw that the hack that helps iPhone 5's on tmobile to make the speeds faster and thought if there is anything like that for Verizon. Nothing dumb about that

When you're hitting the limit of the network, it's pretty dumb. That's just a minor speed tweak. You're always limited by the network.
 
I hate 3G...To think we thought this was so fast a few years ago.:rolleyes:

That's technology for ya, I remember when 56k modems were all the rage lol

Not looking at the fact that we're used to getting everything at once, 3G would still be considered fast if the content we were surfing was as light as it used to be.

The MS Office suite opens faster in Win 95 on a 486 than on a brand new computer because of the fact that people get less and less interested in streamlining code when the technology gets better and better...
