I'm wondering if there's a way to up my standard mighty-mouse tracking speed beyond the highest setting given in system preferences. Do any of you have any problems with the speed of your mouse? I just switched over from Windows not too long ago and the difference between mouse speeds is probably the hardest thing I've had to get used to! :p Are there any programs out there that could solve this issue?

Get yourself a copy of SteerMouse http://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/ I haven't tried it with the MightyMouse specifically but it worked wonders for my Logitech mouse.

and a quite nice solution - FREEWARE iMouseFix - http://db.tidbits.com/article/8893
it cant absolutly turn off the acceleration (allthought it apears as it could) but it it provides a considerable imporvement compared to the original setting of mouse acceleration ;)
