iPhone Speeeding the original iPhone with iOS 3.1.3

I recently revived the original iPhone (jailbroken) that can only be upgraded to iOS 3.1.3.

Is there any mods to speed it up? Would a "Reset All Settings" or "Erase All Content and Settings" help?

No, it's old.

Of course there is a solution to tweak the original iPhone.

That allows newer firmware (well part of it anyway)

But that isn't gonna make it run faster than it does with 3.1.3 firmware.
