Spellchecker Foibles

Has anyone else noticed any supposed errors in the OS X (Tiger) system-wide spellchecker? I was just typing up a paper (quickly) and interestingly enough "divdd" (divided) doesn't show up as an incorrect spelling. 🙄 Any other little errors out there?

Coming from Windows I hate the Apple spellcheck. It is too darn specific. Under M$ and other apps in Window$, it gave me better guesses than what Apple gives me. Even Google is a better help than what I with Apple!
