I have the exact opposite, when I spend time here, and I want to throw away everything,
I constantly read all my Apple devices are crap and are expensive Beta products, and I should have waited for tor the next iteration, and I also should be eating grass being an Apple sheep

It has gotten to a point, that I will buy all the new stuff that is not been released yet, and throw that away at once.

I also have to turn the volume down, as every body is shouting their opinions :)
If people on MR aren't complaining about the sun shining, something is terribly wrong in the universe. Some are so pedantic and obsessive to the point of irrational, they could find a spec of sand on the beach and complain about the lack of uniformity. Steer clear of the regular complainers of all things Apple, and you will be fine here.

Apple devices aren't, generally speaking, "crap", but neither are they perfect. Some devices have plenty of warts and bunions, but they do make us smile (some of the time).

Sometimes the complaints are valid. I will give you that. However, on here, it seems many people go looking for problems. Overall, I have been very happy with my Apple experience through the years.

It's true that many of the comments found here are negative, and as I think about that it reminds me that much of the value of this forum is the knowledge available in the community here to help in understanding or troubleshooting with the various Apple devices that are being used. Not all negative comments are real product issues, either, there are a fair amount of 'operator error' cases even if they aren't always recognized as such.

I have benefited greatly from such help, on many occasions, and also in reading discussions involving others questions and issues I am myself learning a lot about my own devices.

Many people come on here looking for a solution to an Apple problem. That can give the impression that Apple products are problematic.
I think it’s fair to say there are more issues than there used to be. But then there are a lot more devices!
The one that gets me are the people that download beta versions of software who clearly aren’t developers or have a clue what they are doing!

But to answer the OP’s original question, yes seeing there is a new Apple whatever out always makes you think if it’s time to update yours!

The next big thing from Apple could be found in this forum.

Constantly preparing yourself with rumors and news of Apple products will get to you.

It's best when people come here to enjoy Apple and everything they can make.

Im always on the lookout for new Apple products I also know it could cost a lot of money if I was to just get everything I wanted. So I keep it minimal but always running for the next big thing. Go Apple Go Macrumors
