Played about 5-10 minutes.. Smooth like butter on the default video settings though it does give a out of date drivers warning. I am gonna play around with the settings and see how far it can go.

With AMD 5500m dGPU or Intel iGPU? Was afraid it would be bloated like Unreal Engine 5 Matrix City demo but Spider-Man Remastered is usable even on two generations old AMD iGPU.

It was originally designed to run on Polaris hardware (PS4) so I am not sure why anyone is surprised newer (Vega) hardware runs it well.

Doesn't mean anything. God of War was also for PS4 but it ran heavier than Spider-Man Remastered.

If you have the Pro 5500M, that is 18% slower than the recommended GPU. The game will run but you may not be able to do it at 1080P60 with Medium settings. You may get 1080P30 at those settings though.
 
Nice comparison of Spider-Man Remastered on 43 different dGPUs. Runs well even on $400 3060ti FE. That's a positive sign for future Unreal Engine 5 games.

Yeah this game appears CPU limited, either that or something dumb is going on with AMD's drivers to cause the performance scaling to be so bad.


Why would this game matter for UE5 games? IIRC this isn't UE at all it is a custom engine they came up with, right?
