Weird that it is not as slim. I foresee them doing away with the regular t's and tR's like they did with the neo hybrid bumpers.

The tR is 0.5mm vs the 0.4mm t so I guess the slim will be similar. I would have definitely opted for a slim version from the beginning. Rounded corners sound nice though especially around the home button (I've never handled a tR in real life).

That's what I said. But people bitched.

Possibly for impact resistance? A lot of customers are probably not using one for this reason though. I've gotten used to the thickness but I'd trade it for a thinner one. The edges are pretty noticeable compared to a naked phone.

Just spotted the tR slim version released at their korean website, so i guess it will be out soon to international market :D

That's great considering I just chipped and made a small crack on the edge of my Tr. Guess I'll wait a couple of days and order this when it arrives on the US website. :)

I think I'm going to pass. Been hearing more and more stories about the GLAS scratching.

oooOoOooohhH I can't WAIT to try this!!! I've been using a GLAS.t and its UHMAZING!! Has anyone used it yet?? Is it really exactly the same but just slimmer??

Can anyone answer this for me? Does it work out well to put skins on over the glas series screen protectors? Specifically the Trunket skins...

So let me understand. You want to put a glass screen protector over the iPhone glass and the want to put another screen protector over that? Why bother?

I don't consider the trunket skin a screen protector.

The trunket skin only covers the top and bottom of the front, leaving the whole touch screen area unprotected. Its just a visual and allows you to set the phone screen down without the screen touching the table.

Ah. something a little like below. You certainly could but you'll really be splitting hairs. These skins are really thin.

This is pretty interesting.

First of all I just have to say for those without a Glas.t or glas.tr, I continue to tell people and feel that this is the best upgrade I have done to any iphone I have had. If I was forced to choose one upgrade for future devices it would be this screen enhancement.

IMO the glas.tr, the sector 5, the trunket black rosewood, and various colors of sticker boy advanced wraps makes the iphone 5 the most elegant and classy phone ever.

But, I have NEVER felt that the Glas.tr is too thick...... I certainly would not remove my glas.tr to replace it with a slim, but I would probably choose a slim for my 5S or 6, whichever comes next.

Just got my glas t slim today, ordered from the ebay store and it came with the aluminum home buttons. I never owned the original glas t but i have to say im really impressed. the glas t is really smooth and i love the slim design and resists fingerprints much better than the naked screen (maybe just cause its really new?). overall satisfied with my purchase.

I have owned both the t and the r on my iPhone 5. I ordered two t slim which I received today. I ordered two because I like to have a spare. At any rate, both died on install. The first installation had issues with bubbles (removed, cleaned with tape) retried only to have a different set of bubbles. Also, there was no adhesion around the button. Installed the spare one I had with the same result. Both going back for a exchange for the standard T. I did not notice that much of a difference in thickness between the slim and the regular, but there is a big difference with the install.

I am curious if others had the same experience.

I had a few bubbles in mine that couldnt be worked out with my fingers so i left it under a book and some weights over night and when i woke up everything cleared up and a perfect install for me.

I'd recommend leaving under a book/heavy object over night to anyone that has air bubbles during initial install.

Yeah. I've noticed that with glass screen protectors in general, if you apply constant pressure to the bubble, it'll work out.

Did they say whether there will be a GLAS.tR Slim coming out soon?

I just got the GLAS.t Slim. So far it's fairly.... thin!
I really like it alot, and I think i got a perfect install, but having that curved edge with the .tR really does help when handling the phone naked. So it isn't too rough around the edges.

Still rough with the thinness?
