Does this case give any signal problems due to the metal/aluminum ?

It drives me crazy that no one responds to this question. It's an absolute deal breaker if there are signal problems, but know one cares to give a definitive answer. There are general comments like aluminum kills signal, but these are based on other cases and other phones.

I haven't noticed any signal problems, but the buttons are not 'clicky'. Spigen emailed me and told me they are sending me stabilizers so improve the responsiveness of the buttons.

I saw one guy post pictures and he lost one bar with the case on. 3 bars without , 2 with it on. So you don't lose service all the way.

Mine signal is not affected by the metal case at all. Both my wifi and cell service are exactly the same with and without the case. Also, my friend who also has ATT and the iPhone 6 stood next to me and we both had the same service strength.

Thank you for the responses. I went to the Amazon reviews, there seems to be some reported problems (3 or 4).

Maybe people don't have this case o_O

I got Neo Hybrid Metal in last night. It is a very nice looking case. However I am split on function over looks.

My notes:

- Case looks great. Not a cheap feel or look.
- With case on I loose one bar, not a deal breaker but worth noting.
- Case makes phone feel larger, and slight awkward.
- Back is smooth so it feels like it is going to slip out of my hands.
- Case seems to be squared so the phone can very slightly shift up and down in case. It wont fall out though.

I am going to return it because it feels awkward in my hand and with it on I have dropped the phone twice, luckily on carpet. I do have smaller hands though.

I with they would make the bumper more rounded as to give a tighter fit on the phone and probably easier to grip. My case came with the button fix installed.

Hope this helps others.

Bought the new hybrid metal for my iPhone 6 and can definitely say that there is signal loss. Had neo hybrid for my iPhone 5 and no problems. On field test I lose around 10 points. I work in a hospital and was noticing I was not getting signal and took my phone out of the case and was then getting two bars
Very disappointed in spigen. Need recs for new case

Not sure why some people are losing signal cause mine is fine.

I got the black/satin silver version. It's much bulkier than it looks in photos, and the mute switch is nearly impossible to operate. I didn't notice any signal loss, but am still sending it back.

Take a picture first! I wanna see. That's the one I was interested in. Silver to go with my silver phone.

I used a Neo Hybrid on my 5S and loved it. Mute switch was a little deep, but maybe with the curve it's even deeper now?

Now compare to the Apple Leather Case in Olive Brown:

I think the signal issue depends on how strong your signal is to begin with. I don't have a strong signal so any interference seems to effect it a lot. I am sure I wouldn't see an issue if I lived in a bigger city with better reception.

For those still on the fence, I would wait and see if they change the squareness to better fit the iPhone6. The square shape makes it awkward to hold. (At least for me)
