I messaged spigen today inquiring about buying backplates separately for the armor case and they replied saying that they would hopefully be available in the shop from next week, saves me spending excess money buying a whole new case :D

that is great news!!

Just received my satin silver slim armor case today, case feels and looks incredible on my white iPhone 5. I have a question about the fitment of the case though...The case seems a bit loose around the top of the phone, I have noticed several times today after pulling my phone from my pocket one of the top corners of the case has came off of my phone a bit. Anyone else experiencing this issue? I bought the case from Spigens store on Amazon and checked authenticity and it is an authentic case by the way.

I have the Slim in Dodger Blue. The bottom of the TPU piece was loose on mine. I could gently run my finger down the front of the phone and when it hit the lip of the TPU piece it would pull it down. The bottom corners never popped off on their own but if I again applied gently, minimal pressure it would pop off.

I filed a claim with Spigen and they sent me a new TPU. It is a lot better now.

Can anyone tell me - have they changed the design of the TPU section to allow for larger cables and headphones? I heard they might have done, it was an issue.

I had a piece of dust on the inside lens of my iPhone 5 so Apple replaced it yesterday. The old phone looked pretty good after 5 months. A few scratches and a nick on the corner but not bad. But... Spring and Summer will soon be here so I'll be outside a lot more and the phone will get more "abuse". So I think I'm going to get something to protect it. Either a bumper or this, the Slim Armor. It looks pretty good, doesn't seem to be to think and it keeps the shape/look of the phone. That's what I want. Something that doesn't make it much bigger and it still looks like an iPhone 5.

I haven't read the whole thread yet but from the few pages that I've read, it seems like a decent product.

I just wish it had a bit of a lip. I'm not one of the "I lay my phone face down" people, but I'd like the lip for a little protection if it was dropped.

Apparently they have. This is a reply from Spigen to a customer on Amazon from March 2013

just a heads up. don't order the emerald green color in this or just the shell. I got an email today about my shell that they are canceling the production of the color. Now I need to wait for a refund. Just passing the word on to save someone else the trouble.

Can someone comment on the size vs a speck candy shell? I really like the look of this case but I have a feeling it'll be a little too bulky for me. Also wished it has a bigger lay on the table lip.

Very similar in size to the candy shell, but quite different at the same time. For something with the word 'slim' in the name it's quite a bulky case IMO, especially when you consider there is almost no lay-on-the-table lip.

Just picked up the Satin Sliver Slim Armor. Very impressed. Tight fit, looks and feels great. Spigen has a winner! Pics below (excuse my wife's pink iPad mini cover :))

I have the Satin Silver, had it a few days. I really love the look and feel but mine seems really too squishy at the too.

For those that have the case does yours fit super snug at the top?

Got my Dodger Blue case, it's great! Big enough for the Apple lightning adapter and fits my headphones. Great initial impressions and seems like a great case for less than $20.
