Spigen watch stand received

Guess i did not make that clear in the original post, I do like it ....it works well ,it's simple and heavy enough that it doesn't move when you go to take the watch on and off, it'll make a nice travel stand for when I'm in hotel rooms and such. I imagine some of the more expensive ones hide the cable better, but that doesn't concern me.

Wow looks great! I ordered one last week to put in my office since the one I originally ordered (different company) is delayed.
 
When did you order yours? I ordered mine at the same time as my watch, and I'm hoping mine comes soon too!
 
Really? They printed their trademark info in plain view? Would it have killed them to print it on the bottom? I preordered one on eBay...but it is going back now.
 
I ordered mine from Spigen on e-bay because they had a deal to get the protector for 80% off if you ordered the stand. I hope mine comes soon. I always get great service from Spigen.

Yeah, that is kinda stupid, mine easily solved by covering base with a piece of 3m di-noc carbon fiber like an ipad back covering.....

I'll finally have a use for all of the Apple stickers I've collected over the years.
 
I just got my shipment notification from my amazon order, unfortunately it's being shipped Mail Innovations so I can expect it in a month as slow as they are.

Yea, I like spigen but not a fan of it putting its name everywhere. Now they have gone a step too far with putting manufacturing info on the face side IMO.

This is flat out deceptive by them because it's not even on their product pictures. For something being sold mainly for aesthetics this text sticks out like a sore thumb.

i'll be complaining to them and amazon if it shows up with all that writing on the base! that is NOT how it was advertised.

they'll be paying for my return shipping!

I just got an email that mine shipped from Amazon as well. Delivery date June 9. How does something take over a month to ship? Are they bringing it from China by Canoe?

I don't think it will take more than a week and a half in reality. But it just seems so slow. It sometimes takes a few days to be handed off from UPS to USPS.
 
I routinely receive items from Spigen with this service (UPS mail innovations expedited) from CA to east coast in 4 days. Stop your complaining about the free shipping.
 
Regarding the writing - it may come off easy. The trick we always used to get labeling off of plastic phones was to rub a sugar cube on it (didn't scratch the plastic, but took off the Carrier label). Not sure if sugar would scratch aluminum or not...

Also, I e-mailed Spigen to see if they were planning on making this one available in black. No plans to do so.

So, I may order one and paint it black. Or maybe I'll go back and order the Nomad one (they cancelled when I pressed them about moving the cable from the top, as it's different than their marketing photos) when they're available.

Haven't found any others in black that I like (yet).

In the other thread about this stand, a user mentions he tried acetone and it would not remove the text.
 
i just want to know what the heck they were thinking putting the writing in plain view like that?????????????????

i was hoping that other video was a fluke... but apparently it's not and this is how they are going to come: UGLY! :mad:
 
The writing almost certainly can be removed with an adhesive remover like this. Acetone might not be strong enough.
