Why does an AirPods CASE need a case? Now do i need a case for my case case?

You don't - but a "case over the AirPods case" can lock, which means your AirPods don't fly out and off over the floor / ground if you drop the case. If that happens to you a lot and it annoys you, then a "case over the case" might be useful. Otherwise, not really.

Meh, the original is just fine by me.😁

Lock is a nice touch.

I wear my APP3 case around my neck on a lanyard for convenience, but the few times I’ve not and have dropped the case my AirPods pop out and scatter under couch or bed etc.

No, I still have a Macintosh SE/30. Which is a lovely bit of design.

The design style just translates very badly as an AirPods case. As something you are meant to put in your pocket, it looks awful and wouldn't suit its purpose. Form and function have to connect.

Like I said, the card wallet DOES work - it does translate well, because it has "that look" but also functions as a slim card holder, without it being to blocky and lumpy to make it NOT a good card holder. The form complements the function.
Eh potato patatoe .. its function is to hold iPods , check, looks good, check … for me. Shrugs.

This looks awesome 😎 I’m buying 2 before it sells out - might only be a limited edition run. I bought their passport case and use it every time I travel

This probably serves a side benefit as well - of enhancing the chances of it not getting stolen too - if someone sees that on a public table and is thinking of taking it, they might think that it’s just some worthless piece of retro tech 🙃😅

Can you seriously not figure out the difference?
It really doesn’t matter. It’s an article about accessories from a well known brand; MR isn’t saying they are the best, just that they exist. Would you rather they stick to “future iPhone might or might not have these features” style articles.

I'll definitely be buying these. My first computer was an Apple II in elementary school and I loved it.

The Mac mouse was only the best mouse on the market when it was the only mouse on the market.

Even Microsoft made better mice. That's gotta hurt.
The problem with Apple is that its management is so convinced of the superiority of its products that it doesn't really care what the competition is doing. As a result, some devices fall behind (Magic Mouse, monitors, AI, etc.).
One of Steve Jobs' qualities is that he knew he wasn't the best at everything and could learn from others, including outsiders. East Asian countries, proud of their civilization, went from poverty to wealth when they applied this philosophy to their economies. I hope the next Apple CEO brings a new mindset in this regard.

At first I thought your link would lead to some 80's Microsoft-branded brick for the 8086 or the like. 😎 Intellimouse happened like 20 years later though - and is being sorely missed to this day, especially the models with side buttons.
