Hello, So about 15 minutes ago, I spilled Hard Apple Cider on the left speaker of my Macbook Pro with retina display. The total quantity was about the 2 inches in diameter. It took me about 10 seconds to get a towel and wipe it off, another 10 seconds to close out apps and turn off the computer, and another 10 seconds to turn it upside down. Since there really isn't a way to release liquid from the unibody, I figured turning it over was the best option since it landed on the speakers to begin with. I have not touched it since then and I plan to leave it off and in this position for at least 48 hours. Any other suggestions? Any and all advice is appreciated!!!
