Do NOT use rice, it doesn't work. Believe me, I've tried it myself.

...Rice will NOT attract smart Asians to fix it for you.

What you really want is silica gel, it absorbs all the moisture.

Im always curious why people chance these things. Why not wait a few days at least? I dunno..... If i spilled water on my Air im not turning that guy on for a week.

Great advice!!

My son accidentally spilled milk, and my MBA was sitting on the table close by. It did seep in. I did all I could do to help it out, but it wouldn't turn back on the next day. I happened to try it again a week later, and it fired back up! So, really, give it more than 24 hours. I know it's hard to wait.

Send it to these guys if you get it working again:

Obviously it only works for solid state drive computers, but definitely worth the price to live in peace with our expensive equipment.

just too late

Holy crap this is a thing? I've heard of people "dipping" their pc internals into similar liquids to seal it, but never consumer electronics. That's awesome!

Do they provide consumer services?

After a quick read on the site it would seem no.

They're only working with manufacturers to seal the internals at production stage.

Whenever I eat or drink next to my MBA I keep the drink a good distance away so that even if I do knock it over there is no way for it to spill into my laptop. Amazes me how a lot of people are just so careless with their fancy expensive toys, I would never let my GF or anyone else use my MBA if they had anything resembling liquid with them.

It looks like the manufactures have pushed us little guys out. You used to be able to send off your devices and have them hooked up.

Try https://www.liquipel.com/

Well they look like they no longer do mac air's either. Dang!

Just keep looking.
