My water bottle leaked all over my charger and now it won't recharge my laptop.

Any chance of getting it to work again?

You're going to have to let it sit for a few days, but I wouldn't count on it working again.

The charger was unplugged at the time so no electricity was running through it.

The charger being unplugged was great until you plugged it in to check it out.

Most likely, there is water/moisture inside, so best case you need to let it sit unplugged to dry (stick it in a bag of rice), worse case you shorted something when you plugged it in so it is dead.

also, don't leave it plugged in unattended for at least a week, and in that time check to make sure it's not getting hotter or buzzing more than normal.

make sure to unplug it before you leave it alone, in case something did get damaged, there is a possibility of fire.
