Fake or not? Looks legit to me.
Nice. It does not look fake, but I wonder why the gunshots were that silent. It has been a long time since I fired a pistol or rifle, but normally they would be quite loud.
Me too, but having looked at the location of the thread and the OP, made me doubt that, unless the OP's account was hacked by some pirate.
I thought this thread was about a new spinning beachball of death and not a real spinning bullet
It does seem very quiet. I haven't been hacked (but I am a Pirate). I just found it interesting and wondered if it could be possible. So I submit to the ranks of the MR forums.
Anyway, I saw it on Gizmodo and apparently is being tested by MythBusters.
Pretty cool, seems legit.
I don't know why someone would fake something like this.
What would be the point in faking it?
Be interesting to see if Mythbusters can prove or disprove this. I'm not sure if this is legit. It was the softest sounding .40 gun I have ever heard.
It's the type of thing I would enjoy doing if I had enough time, kind of a practical joke.
It didn't fall over, so he's still in the dream.

Took me a second to get the reference...
Looks half-and-half to me.
Looks legit-interesting to see the scientific explanation of what is happening-IF it's the real deal.
Is the MythBusters out yet?
