Spinning wheel after deleting caches

Deleted Caches in:

/private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.springboard.sharedimagecache/Persistent

Iphone 3gs will not restart, spinning wheel keeps on going.....

Was trying to get rid of the icon shadows.

any thoughts?

Whew...got it

Apparently the file I replaced was no good. Even though it was spinning I was still able to use Diskaid to replace the file with the original that I had saved. Let this be a lesson to always back up the image you replace!
