Split iPhone Apps forum into 2??

Hey all.

i dono about you but i would absolutely love to have this forum split into 2: native apps & web apps.

i just think it would make searching for specific apps/ideas/help sooooo much easier. What so you guys think? who should we talk to to get this to happen?

I absolutely concur. It's hard enough to Google for iPhone web apps since the top results are usually native apps.

wouldn't "development" in "iPhone Apps and Development" cover Web Apps?

yes it does...but everything that is talked about or posted is all native apps....and not all of us hack our phones. i think 2 forums are needed, native and web apps are so different....and i think the forums should reflect that.

i was thinking, if there could be a separate category for iphone and ipod touch apps?i know both has the same " mac os x" platform but after all, one is an ipod and the other is a phone. the iphone has bluetooth and EDGE but the ipod doesn't. just wondering. 🙂 however the current idea of spreading it would be nice
