I just got the iPad Pro 9.7 and so far it's a fantastic device - True Tone is the killer feature for me as I can now read much more comfortably without getting eye strain or headache.

The only glitch I can see so far is that the split view functionality seems erratic - it keeps getting disabled somehow so that all I can do is the partial slide over (like on iPads prior to Air 2). The small white bar at the edge no longer displays and once this happens I have to reboot to get it back. I have Multiple Apps enabled in the Multitasking settings and I'm obviously using the apps that support it (they won't appear in the drop down otherwise) but I don't know why it keeps dropping out like this.

Anyone else come across similar issues and/or have an idea how to to fix it?

You say you are using the apps that support it because they are in the drop down....but is the main app you are using part of that list every time? Both apps need to support the feature.

Ah, thanks.. that seems to be it. It was just a coincidence that after restarting it I began with Safari which supports it rather than one of the other apps in the main window that doesn't.
