No, its easier to just see 'UK' in the thread title of a few threads...most subjects will refer to both...

by this reasoning, there should be multiple sub forums for europe, since there will be different carriers for different countries. i think it's fine as it is.

Too much forum proliferation. And I say no, because next year we'll have an Asia iPhone and then probably an Australasian iPhone... I also think the Canadians might have something to say about being in the American forum. ;)

Also, by the basis of your reasoning we'd have different forums for each European country as Apple are using different networks in each European state the iPhone is selling in...

My 2 cents.

Could we not perhaps have a different forum for each US state? And split the UK into it's separate parts as well - we should at least have a North/South divide.

While we're at it how about an alphabetical split by user name too...

hilarious.

In my view it's a bad idea to split the forum. We can all benefit from sharing each others experiences (as we in the U.K. have done from the U.S. launch).

As someone mentioned above, region specific matters can easily be identified by sensible thread titles.

How about separate MacBook Pro/iMac forums etc too? My keyboard has a £ sign on it...
