The difference is, car companies don’t just change your own car that you already decided to buy and like and drive around. And even if they did you could sell it and get an alternative as there are many manufacturers offering an equal experience.. while in this case you will be stuck with something you might find subpar.

I shouldn’t have to deal with decisions on whether i currently like my device that i bought. Then if i decide i don’t, i forfeit about half the value of the device, selling it.

Slide Over has returned in 26.1 Developer Beta 2! It’s only one app at a time (no more iOS-like carousel to switch between Slide Over apps), but that app can be hidden on either side of the screen and is resizable. It will stay on top of all other windows even if another is active.

Progress back to where we were, but still need SlideOver multitasking to return. Slide Over can be invoked by long holding or long clicking on the traffic lights and selecting Enter Slide Over.
