Slide Over actually pauses the background application while the slide over is active. Split view actually lets you use both applications at the same time. Reactions: newellj

Maybe not so useful

Imagine if Apple enabled SplitView for the Air 1. There will be so many disgruntled users... Yet users feel adamant that Air 1 should have it.
