sammich macrumors 601 Sep 22, 2015 #2 The screenshot you've shared is of 'Slide over', which is not the same as 'Split View'. Slide Over actually pauses the background application while the slide over is active. Split view actually lets you use both applications at the same time. Reactions: newellj
