I'm wanting to try it out on my Air2 to see what I think about the sizing/usefulness since I'm still struggling with keeping the 12.9 pro or getting the 9.7 (seriously - why is this such a difficult decision for me??).

Anyway, do I need to have several apps open to be able to open and utilize the split view? I can pull in from the side, but I get my calendar, and no option to scroll and pick another open app like it showed in the video I watched. I'm trying to open apps that I believe are supported in split view, like notes, safari, etc.

    What am I doing wrong?

you dont need any apps open. the options you can scroll through are only those apps optimised for split view screening.

When have have split view opened to first position, pull down from middle top of split area (there should be a "-" thing to grab with your finger). This will show a list of apps to select for split view.

Oh okay. I guess I wasn't catching it in the right spot. Thanks!
