Splitting partition

Hello!

I have an external hard drive that I use for TM backups and Windows game storage. I would like to split the backup partition into 2 partitions. I would also like to keep the files in the Windows partition intact (I don't care if I lose the backup data).

How can I do this while keeping the Windows data?
