The download speed of the podcast is absolutely horrendous (still 6 hours remaining, iTunes says). Better wait for the streaming video to arrive as well.

Presently, i'm staring at my 16" circa [year] 2000 CRT which has a dead pixel just right of center, and the colors are beginning to separate in the lower right hand corner. The browser i'm using is Namoroka, a.k.a Firefox 3.6 Alpha 1. I see that stupid Fisher-Price inspired task bar down below that so strikingly signifies Windows XP, and looking at my "System Properties", This machine has a 1.28 GHz Pentium 4, 256 MB of RAM, and a 40 GB Hard Drive. my apps of choice for the work I do are The GIMP, Audacity, Namoroka, Sketchup, Blender, Sony Vegas, and DAZ Studio. I have Six different web browsers installed, Safari 3, Safari 4, Internet Explorer 8, Chrome 4.0, Firefox 3.5.2, and Namoroka 3.6 Alpha 1. The average boot time from power button to actual functionality is roughly four minutes. To launch a web browser, from process creation to usability, ranges from twenty seconds to three minutes, with the average being around thirty or forty seconds. This machine was manufactured on July 22, 2001 and originally shipped with Windows Millennium Edition. The sticker on the front however, pledges that this machine is designed for Windows 2000/98. I'm presently saving up for a Macbook Pro, so I can peruse further studies in the areas of video editing and general film production, as well as 3-D design. Graphic design and audio editing are two skills that i've picked up along the way as a result of having to do most of the work for my videos/movies.

That's a little about me and my machine. I hope you enjoyed it.
