I don't know how the whole technical thing works, but does Apple even have to upload it?
It's their server and they're hosting it. Isn't it as simple as plugging a drive into their system?

No, I meant that the videos were on a drive somewhere, and then they just copy that file directly over to their servers.
But like I said, I don't know anything at all about server stuff, so don't mind me.
