Does anyone think I can risk going to the apple website, with an extremely small window, and try to carefully look around for the "watch the keynote" box at the bottom without ruining it?

DON'T DO IT! i already know what happened, and just want the keynote for details, so i checked. the whole page is a huge superspoiler.

12 mins until I go to Gizmodo or Engadget live stream

yeah, lol @ gizmodo. they actually had a post up asking for people to send them info and pics that were at the event since apple hadn't responded to their requests to attend and they still wanted to liveblog.

I don't think it is going to go up at all. There were problems during the presentation, and they aren't going to post a video that shows their new iPhone in a bad light, so you're all better to stop holding your breath and go to bed.

My first spoiler free keynote, don't think I'll be doing another at this rate.

Will give it another 3 hours before I decide to look at apple.com

like when harry dies? (haven't seen the most recent ones, so that may or may not be a spoiler)

...yes...

Don't do that...
Just wait. Go check this evening or tomorrow morning (depending on where you live)

I suppose I could be patient, considering I get home at 11am tomorrow as it's only a short thing at school. Not good at being patient though and my friends will probably give stuff away.

Is that a bootleg stream or something of the entire keynote?

Well I mean more liveblog. If it was a video it'd be great, but alas no.

Oh, ok. I thought you meant that somebody was in the crowd with a macbook turned backwards sneakily filming and streaming the entire thing.
:)

mabye next year i'll buy the $1500 ticket then charge $5 a pop to people here and deliver a bootleg version minutes after the keynote.

Could be right.

Has there ever been a time in the past where they haven't posted the keynote?
