Can’t keep out of trouble!

Some of you may remember my High Sierra meltdown. New SSD & fresh Mojave, getting rid of unused extras has helped.

BUT then the old idjit got the bright idea SponsorBlock for YouTube sounded like a good idea.

Although I’ve deleted the app, run utilities, restarted aso, I keep getting pages like that attached.

I get this page in Safari virtually every time I follow a hyperlink, or even type a URL, as is macrumors.com. Doesn’t seem to happen with other browsers.

Disk Utility from Internet recovery? Reinstall the US? Is there something to purge? (Malwarebytes reports no threat.) Any way to reinstall Safari only?

Any ideas? TIA!

I'd suggest trying to clear Safari and see if that corrects the problems:
Delete the contents of the following folders:
~/Library/Safari/Extensions
~/Library/Safari/Databases
~/Library/Safari/LocalStorage

Register on MacRumors! This sidebar will go away, and you'll see fewer ads.
