My macbook used to connect to the other computers on my network with no problem. Recently it seems like sometimes it will connect to them and some times it will not. Of course it will never connect when I actually NEED it to! No settings have been changed on the other computers OR mine. What can I do to ensure that I can connect to the other computers on a regular basis?

hmm this is tricky, i am not familar of a way to set up a 'constant' connection.

can i ask, what way do you try to connect to your networked computers?

i find that my MBP is very tempremental, it is old and grumpy. when trying to connect to it from another networked computer i must go into "connect to server" in the "go" menu (in the finder) and type in the computers address. i cannot go into a finder window and log-in that way, it just wont work for me.

have you tried all possible method of connecting?

oh and is File Sharing turned on haha?
