Sport Loop bands

For this type of band the description says the Sport Loop features a hook-and-loop fastener for quick and easy adjustment. Does that mean velcro please? I only have third party Sport Loops and these are all velcro. I was just wondering if the official bands are different?

Velcro is the name brand of hook and loop fasteners... like Xerox or Kleenex

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought 'hook and loop fasteners' was just the American term for Velcro. I didn't realise Velcro was a brand name.

Here’s a picture of the Nike Sport Band.

It’s five thin strips, and it works great. It’s also easy to intentionally remove the watch, but it doesn’t unintentionally come off. I no longer use any other band.
