I own the Marware Sportfolio Deluxe. I was choosing between the same two brands. The Marware was definitely a great (and stylish and protective) choice, but I don't own a Brenthaven, so I'm not about to bash their quality.

I'd definitely buy the Marware again. Just the right amount of storage room with just the right amount of bulk.

i own a Brenthaven, but the Metro model. i don't think there is any brand that'll give you better protection. i don't know about the Marware bag.

I can vouch for Brenthaven. Girlfriend also has the older model from about 2 years ago and it's still going strong with her smaller MBP. They make a quality case if I've ever seen one.
