Hi,

I have a weird problem with my rMB 2016 model. I connect my rMB with a digital USB sound card (Turtle Beach) to my stereo system. When I do this through the Apple USB-C AV-multiport adapter, the audio from Spotify will drop out every 10-20 seconds or so (not always, but most of the time). However, if I connect my rMB digitally to my stereo system using another non-Apple USB-C adapter, then there are no audio dropouts. Any idea why this is happening?

When using the Apple AV-multiport adapter, I don't get audio dropouts when watching youtube, movies (VLC) or other stuff. It seems to be connected to Spotify.

Any ideas? Thanks!

PS: The is the Apple adapter I'm talking about:

It's updated, yes. I think I'll return the adapter. Maybe it's defect. I also notice that when watching movies with VLC, I sometime get a black screen for 1 second here and there, and there are issues with synchronisation between audio and picture.

That's interesting. It's an expensive adapter, and it doesn't work right. Very sloppy by Apple :(

This is an Apple hardware bug (or software bug in Spotify). You need to buy a different adapter, or use iTunes.
