Pretty far from their core business I would say. And to make a watch it would need to be great at not only playing music at your pace, but a hell of a lot of other things as well (Fitness, GPS, design, smart watch features etc.)

I think they would gain a lot of positive attention by releasing an awesome app for the watch. Simple yet powerful would be the key and make us happy

Agree - I don't think there's anyone with an iPhone/Apple Watch that would buy a Spotify watch (likely running Android's watch OS) anyway.

The $ fight between Apple & Spotify is at the center of all this. They bought up Snowy to keep from releasing, not so they could put it out themselves. Because if it was out in the wild, they lose leverage. And we all suffer because of it. (by suffer, I mean #firstworldproblems.)

Any updates on this? Its been 5 months...

None at all - I'm gonna quit Spotify even though I really don't want to (playlists are a pain to transfer)

The big update to Apple Music for the Apple Watch and complete silence from Spotify, really doesn't give me any choice but to switch

Have you tried the Houdini app? Hands down the best transfer app. Worth the $2.99. It works best with music "in the cloud" rather than local files though.

I stand by my previous post that Spotify's intention was always to shelve this, not to release it. Apple Music has much improved and if you start from a clean iTunes and then add in/upload the music that is missing from their catalog, it works much much better.

Thanks a lot - tried another one the last time I switched (Think it was called Stamp) and it tried but failed doing it
