They have added/are adding a "your music" section which is supposed to be much better than just having a massive list of playlists. I haven't seen this feature on the app yet so don't know if its still on its way or it needs to be kicked off on the desktop app.

Hopefully someone else can shed some light on this.

I almost switched to Beats Music because they have this feature already. But I found the rest of the Spotify interface and music selection to be better. I hope they add this soon. I'd love to have a Spotify library I can just shuffle all the time.

It's rolling out gradually, along with the other features. So, soon.

Have they added the ability to save/organize music by artist yet? I can't believe this has been missing from the service all along, which is the main reason I switched to Rhapsody even though I like Spotify better overall.

This is Spotify's biggest issue, IMO, and the main reason I greatly prefer Rdio

I just installed the update on my iPhone. I'm digging it. Although I wish they would do what Tweetbot did with "dark" and "light" themes. Especially having the space grey 5s. But again, I'm probably nit picking.

Is Spotify still in business? I'm seriously surprised they have any customers left since the launch of iTunes Radio rendered the Spotify service useless.

I'm seriously surprised that you don't know the difference between Spotify and iTunes Radio.

No. I used Spotify/Rdio quite regularly until the launch of iTunes Radio. I haven't used it once since. And I get iTunes Radio for free as part of my Match subscription. It's an insanely great deal that Spotify doesn't come close to matching. I think these services are doomed.

I have to mention how lucky YOU are for having iTunes Radio for free.

Looks like you have to go to all your "stared" songs and hit "save" for them to show up on your music organized.

Yes. All your "saved" music can now be organized by songs, albums and artists.

Does iTunes Radio allow you to listen your songs off line? Didn't think so. Wake me up when it does. Until then Spotify for me.

Updated to 1.0.0

I have version 1.0.0 running with the black theme and premium (UK) on iPhone and iPad but I don't see 'Your Music or option to save. Still the old starred system. When they mean rolling out gradually does that mean the app update or the new features in the app? Driving me mad so any advice would be great.

Thanks Rob

Any tracks I add or star to playlists are at the top, and stay that way, arranged by date. Just click the date/added time, in the column of your playlist?

Stared stays at the top, all the others forget this setting/change when you quit and reopen the app. Sure its only a click to arrange them that way but its an unnecessary one.

Still the fact you can't do it at all on iOS is ridiculous.

how do you clear the cache in spotify, the more i use it the more it took up what limited space i had on the ipad so i had no choice but to delete it

Don't think there is a way other than delete and re-install the app.

That's what I have to do each week on my iPhone. I don't use it much (if at all) on my rMini, so I don't have to do it. It's very annoying that I have delete and re-install the app each week. You'd think Spotify would do something to fix this.

I don't think it's Spotify's fault but more Apple's. I know on Android you can clear the cache of most, if not all apps.
