Mate I use Codex and CC daily. I know what kind of outputs they produce. It can be really useful stuff that can be process-enabling, but badly prompted it can produce garbage. Mozilla can use LLMs to fix incredibly complex memory allocation bugs in Firefox, while some random can generate garbage webpages with the exact same model.I think he was pointing out the hypocrisy of someone saying that all AI is just "inexorable slop" while using a Memoji.
No one ever complained about the quality of Memojis or had concerns about their outputs. Honestly, 15 year-younger me just stole this pfp off the internet in high school. It's almost like people have complex opinions on complex topics, and you shouldn't attempt to strawman someone's opinions via a pfp 🤣
What I do think however is that I have little faith that anything Spotify produces in this area _won't_ be slop.
Their app design has been garbage for years, why should I think their LLM-generated content will be better?
