Hi all

I'm using the (I think) last version of Spotify in my G4 with 10.5.8, and it still logs in, search music but my playlists have disappeared. It says there is an error with the synchronization.

It's horrible as I used to download them for offline use as I am paying Spotify premium.

Is this another nail in the PowerPC coffin?

I've found this can happen sometimes - keep trying at different times and they should appear back.

Happened to me too, hopefully they fix it
Things like that happened before but they always fixed it again
But maybe this time not... Who knows... It would definitely be one of the last nails for me. No daily driver without spotify :/

For me this has been happening in stages within a week, I think...

1. First, some of the sidebar links to the playlists had started disappearing. I could get them back by dragging from the playlist page, but they wouldn't stay.

2. The song orders started getting jumbled, and I got duplicates of some songs, etc.

3. The sidebar list of the playlists disappeared entirely.

4. Next, about half of my lists were gone from the playlist page too... About half of the rest are jumbled. At "Edit" I can see most (but not all) titles of the disappeared lists, with the text "0 tracks, no time".

There are some "opensource" Spotify implementations like libspotify, pyspotify and librespot. Maybe these are our future? I'll try to have a deeper look at these but my coding knowledge is limited. Therefore one of the more experienced and advanced coders here could have a look too and tell us if it's possible or we have to cancel our Spotify subscriptions at last :(
