When has Spotify argued about it being free of charge? They pay a developers fee, and they quite rightly pay a fee on all transactions made through the App Store. As far as I'm aware, all they want is to have the ability to offer services outwith the App Store and not pay a fee for that.So I’m curious... you think it’s ok that Spotify not want to allow other services to use their tools to move content, but it’s ok for Spotify to want to use Apple’s software development tools, and platform, and application delivery and updating and everything that is involved... free of charge...? You don’t see the irony in that?
