Hey people,
With some programs I need to start, I go to the spotlight, and type the program name, and then enter when it finds it. No problem.
But now.. It seems screwed. I type "iweb" and it finds some weird text documents. When I type "i" it finds SOME programs that starts with an "i", like iVolume. But A LOT of programs are not there?? It's the same if I do a normal search on the drive. In Spotlight settings, it's all set up correctly.
I recently updated to 10.5.3.. Could that be the culprit?? Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated. 😉
EDIT: Is there any way to force a re-indexing? Just to see if that helps..
EDIT 2: OK, got it. It's reindexing now. I actually found out, that no results at all were from the system drive. The few apps it found were from backups on other drives.. Hope re-indexing works..
EDIT 3: Re-Indexing did in fact solve the problem. Well, it's funny how you seem to be more able to solve it yourself, AFTER you ask for help. Then you get the right ideas..
Thanks for tuning in.. 🙂)
