Is there any way to make spotlight dedicate more cpu speed?
I just moved to a new iMac and had it transfer over 60gb from time machine. Indexing says 40+ hours and it is rising. The real problem is that I boot in and out of Windows 7 and it seem that every time I get back into OSX that it wants to start the process all over again.
I know it only used a couple percent of cpu but at this rate, it will never end. My Macbook never had this problem although that built the data over time so I guess that is why?
