spotlight is getting dumber

why is the most essential tool, search (idiotically called spotlight, cuz apple idiotic marketing noise), keep getting ********? apple is litterally a deadbeat when it comes to descent software. just gloss over ****.

I've never used Spotlight and have disabled it since its very first release years and years ago.

Instead, I use these (both are tiny and free):
- EasyFind
- Find Any File

Agreed. It peaked several years after release.
