I use to use the function where you swiped down on the screen type an app name and then start it from the search. Now no apps are found. Is there a setting for this ? I cant find it. Swiping from the home screen also doesnt find apps. 🙁

Works here on 9.0 that was released today. Not sure what setting might be related to it as it seem to work for me even with Siri suggestions disabled.

Same here.. Pull down spotlight, search for an app name .. Get everything but apps.
Restart didn't help .. May have to do a clean install.

EDIT: turning off spotlight suggestions and turning it back on solved the issue for me.

it does find the app but it takes awful long of time...dont know what apple is thinking but defs should put apps on the top of list

ios( should release Gb space. my iphone 5S showed 6 GB as free space before ios9 download. An deven after download it showed 6 GB. I was expecting it to be 9GB or so.

@azurexie : It took a couple of days for me to work .. I assume spotlight is re-building the index in the background (also the reason why battery life is weak in the first few days I believe).

Still, spotlight is not working well for me. Now it does not show contacts correctly or sometimes at all.. Very strange.
