cant get this to work, just offers to search web/app store/maps, siri suggestions are on.
:/ working for me on my iPhone 6. What phone do you have and where do you live?
iphone 6, minneapolis
looks like it will do everything ive tried except percentages like those outlined in the ios 9 hidden features post here on macrumors from last week...in that one they did 18% of $56.XX and it worked but i cant get mine to do that
Have you tried turning it off then on again by holding the home and sleep button at the same time? Also is this on 9.0 or 9.0.1
Works fine on my iPhone 6. Perhaps double check all the toggles in the spotlight search settings.
no dce on 9.0 or 9.0.1, turned phone off and on too and still no dice on that one
I can get it using "regular" Siri, but if I type it in, no.
My Spotlight search does not show contacts in search results. I have to go the contacts app, and then search for it. It is really annoying. Please help!!
This thread isn't about contacts but I'll bite.
Make sure you have contacts enabled in Settings > General > Spotlight Search. And then reboot holding Home + Power together until the Apple logo appears.
it will do any kind of currency conversion too, really handy...
mine does it if i do it that way with the * instead of "of" but in the macrumors ios 9 hints page they used "of" - maybe they changed it in some beta or whatever, but im not going to worry about it - seems to be doing everything else just fine
I believe it always works the same way as Yosemite. If you use Spotlight in Yosemite, "of" wouldn't work either.
? who knows
