Spotlight still broken?

Is Spotlight still broken in the latest beta of Big Sur?

Couldn't tell you. It's worked for me through every beta, including this one. I saw your previous post, but I have been, and am still able to, locate documents via spotlight on my 16" MBP. Not sure why it didn't/doesn't work for you 🙁

Did you try to disable and enable it again? System Preferences -> Spotlight -> Privacy

I can’t search for any documents or emails in Spotlight. I will do a try to disable spotlight and enabled it again and see if it helps.

Seems to be working ok here. With the last beta I had some weird things going on where some of my folder/drives it wouldn't do anything with, but others it would search fine. This was using the search field on the regular Finder windows. My sample library for whatever reason couldn't be searched, but I could search on my backup drive of it. Ran into a few more spots here and there it wouldn't work in, but beta 8 seems to have knocked it back into place.
