Spring 2010 MBP RAM question

I want to upgrade the RAM of my Spring 2010 MBP and my question is can I buy RAM with speeds of 1600 MHz? Will it be compatible?

I ask because the stock RAM currently in my MBP is only 1067 MHz

It will work but it still will only run at 1066.
