Springboard crashes when i get msg, or call.

every time i get a msg or an incoming call while using the phone in any app, my springboard crashes, the mobile substrate comes up, also when my phone is on lock screen and i get a msg, my screen crashes then i have to respring,
anyone has any ideas.i tried rejailbreaking but looks like it dint make a difference.

Iphone 3g baseband 06.15 4.2 unlocked via ultrasnow

You should restore as new; do a clean jb.
