General springtomize for ios 8.

Anyone having issues where you go to unlock your phone after it's been sleep for 10+ minutes and it turns on to the lock screen but is unresponsive (needing a reboot to fix touch unresponsiveness)?

I'm not sure if this is springtomize causing it or not.

Have you turned on any lock-animations? (Like CRT, blur or something like that)

I had the CRT (old TV or whatever it's called) turned on, and it did this sometimes. After turning off lock-animation, I've had no problems 🙂

Yep, I do have that lock animation (CRT, old TV) on! BUT, it's been on for the past few days and everything has been fine. Not sure if its not playing nice with the Substrate update 2-3 days ago. Still that was the last animation I turned off before posting this. Let's see if that fixes it....hasn't happened yet.

I'll update if it happens again.
 
yeah, i believe this problem is from Springtomize, too. I emailed the dev and just got a response today saying that he's gonna work on it.
 
I didn't see this posted, hopefully I'm not double posting.

I have an ipad, and I've got Springtomize set for extra rows and columns, and icons at 75%. Sometimes when using pinch to close the screen will either freeze up on an empty SB page or with the app small in the center of the screen like it froze up half way closed. All I have to do is press the home button and it closes properly. Brand new ipad air 2, hardly any other tweaks. Just ShowCase and RecentFacebook. But, it could be the ipad itself I guess. I'll uninstall sometime, but wondered if others had seen this?

Mine does it too--hopefully he will work out the few bugs I have seen and this is one of them.

I use Lockglyph on my iPhone, but not Springtomize, and I haven't noticed any issues with TouchID. But, I use Springtomize on my iPad, and not Lockglyph, and I haven't seen any issues either. Maybe they conflict with each other, or maybe it's unrelated, or I just haven't noticed it yet?

Cool, I'm narrowing it down to that CRT issue then. Has to be it. I like it too but it causes a re-wake to be unresponsive. It's not just touchID it's also screen locking up too
 
hey guys,

so springtomize was working fine and all, but now eerytime i go to change a setting, spring board crashes. Say i go and cahnge the coverflow to "ON" springboard will crash and the coverflow will turn on as well. It enables whatever i want, but it crashses all the time. Any clue why?

What tweaks have you installed since it was working fine?
 
Springtomize 2 used to have a setting that allows the user to change the color of the name under the icons. I cannot find it in Springtomize 3? Anyone know if it is there?

I have the same issue with Old TV animation. I didn't realize that would have been what was causing my screenlocks but makes perfect sense. It's really bothersome because I love the animation. Speed it up to 0.15, and it gives me that warm feeling inside as it's just how I want it. So sorely disappointed. I get lockups when I wake phone, lock it, and then wake again (within a few seconds). Phone locks up and needs to be force rebooted. Happens a couple times a day when I check the time, turn off screen, then try to wake again cus I realize I want to do something on my phone.

Also I'm having other slight artifacts and screen mishaps on lock screen. Occasional unresponsiveness, etc.

And just changing the icon labels would force me into safe mode. And every so often my phone completely shut off and I'd have to restart it.

I removed springtomize and went back to hideme8 and have none of these issues.

I agree. I finally was going through springtomize again and messing with some of the settings and I got 4 different settings that bring me into safe mode....and no these aren't conflicting with any other tweaks I have. HideMe8 only has CC settings enabled for me (nothing I changed related to that - also tested by turning it off altogether) and I cross-checked other tweaks too.

I definitely think the springboard crashes need to be fixed, at the very least...I mean it's a paid tweak.
 
When reducing icon size and increasing grid size, I've noticed the camera stutters when I close the app. When those 2 aren't changed it goes back to normal

Has anyone found which seems most stable, hideme8 or springtomize?
 
i have an issue with the dock....i have it set to like a curved effect but the right hand two app icons are very dark compared to the rest of the dock icons...if i set it to curve the other way there fine any ideas pls peeps

Just tried mine and its OK--no issues at all. Try a reboot

check your classicdock settings or whatever tweak you are using for the reflection look
