request: show current app in appswitcher

I'm not on twitter, and couldn't figure out how to contact the developer:

could the current app be shown in the switcher, so you can exit and close an app immediately, rather than pressing home to exit AND opening the switcher to close it. I think Switchermod, Remove Recents or one of the older app switcher tweaks let you do that...

I don't understand your question.

Springtomize shows up as a background tasks just like any other section under Settings.

If I make changes, I respring.
If I don't make changes, I hit the Home button.

That's not what I meant. By current app, I didn't mean Springtomize, I meant the current app displayed on the screen.

E.g. you're using an app but want to quit it rather than leaving it running (e.g. an IM app that uses lots of RAM & data). Currently, to do that you press home to exit, then double press home to bring up the app switcher, then close it (Springtomize already lets you close apps in the switcher without having to go into wiggle mode)

An option to make the current app show up in the switcher would mean you could bring up the app switcher and close that app immediately.

A small thing, but I think it'd be useful. I remember an older app switcher tweak had it. How do I ask the dev directly?

just updated this, and the status bar-carrier thing is fixed.
but my 'slide to unlock' is suddenly finicky, it doesn't always take me 'in' to the homepage immediately.

rebooted, same thing.

anyone else? or is this an unrelated coincidence??

I've given up on Springtomize. The latest problem was with Lockinfo. I installed the beta version of Lockinfo, the version no one else has had problems with and the version about to go production. Not only didn't LI work, passcode was completely disabled. I disabled Springtomize and, like magic, LI worked and so did passcode.

fwiw, this is NOT happening anymore... :D

Fully transparent clear status bar pls

It's awesome. Thx!

I was able to remove almost everything else. I kept enhanced folders. I kept shrink bec I want to shrink dock icons more than others.

The saddest one is that I still need winterboard since the transparent status bar isn't as fully transparent as I'd like.

But still hugely awesome. Thx.

Just curious what those of you also using Winterboard do about features that both WB & Springtomize offer. E.g. Hiding icon labels: for it to work, have to enable the theme in WB as well as enable it in Springtomize. Would simply deleting the theme from WB make it so enabling Hiding of icon labels in Springtomize would work on it's own? Just been wondering about things like that.

Springtomize will take care of it.

Love this tweak!

If I install this and use it, if I decide to unJB my iPhone, will it leave any tidbits behind?

and

Has anyone had any problems with this on 4.3.4?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)

DFU to restore wipes your phone completely. Not sure about 4.3.4 I'd assume it's fine

Does Springtomize 2 have a "Gridlock" feature to lock icons and folder layout?

It does have a feature to lock icons from moving. It's under Icons>Lock Moving. "Makes it impossible to move apps around on the homescreen whwn in 'wiggle mode.'"

It can also backup the icon layout in Time Machine>Icon State. Turn it on and manually save. Should maintain folder layout as well. Can also be set to auto-backup once a day.

No, Springtomize 2 does NOT have a Gridlock feature and if you want to freely place your icons anywhere on the screen on any page then you will still need to use Gridlock.

I have used both without any issues since there release and they are fully functional and work very well together.
