Just make an announcement, Apple, puh-leeeze!! Just make an announcement that you're going to make an announcement even.....

I'm on phone fumes here plus, with the near death of my old Mac notebook (works around the house, but won't travel no more), I have no net access on the road (and - since I keep my computers 4-6 years, won't until Apple releases what I expect is going to be a new form factor 15" MBP in early 2012!

Starting with a new iPhone and iOS5, followed by a polished mid-point version of Lion, a wrung out iCloud by then, the first affordable line of TB-equipped gear and later an iPad 3 with likely retina rez, I'm ready to get with the whole new program here as each next gen of these 3 devices are released.

I'm refreshing Mac sites 3 times a day waiting for the word....

...I even get how people stand in line and all.....
 
I think it could be released as soon as the 30th which is Friday. I think this would make the most sense because it will be crazy busy after the launch and they want their employees to be available.

Sprintfeed is the source of the photo, so thats their watermark... It is photoshopped in, but on purpose...

Hahaha nice Photoshop perceptions skills! Thinking a water mark is a bad Photoshop job. :D

I know what a watermark is, it was a genuine question. Stupid mistake, yes, but no need to be insulting. Sometimes the things right under your nose are the hardest to see.

Actually you're right, it is! I say fake on this story. Really, we're all so worked up about this release we'll jump on anything made up. I think we need to step back a bit and breath! :D
 
hi ppl, not sure if this is relevant, but found this small change on apple store, the offer for $100 of apps, music, etc when buying mac for college ends on 9/20

If they are blacking out those few weeks, then it would make much more sense that the phone would be released Sept 30 not at the end of the blackout period. If they were to release it after the blackout period, that would be allowing employees to take vacation during a critical sales period.
 
Major phone launch? So they're blacking out for HTC phones or something? :D If this isn't the iPhone, then I don't know what else it could be. No other phone ever gets that kind of attention.

EDIT: Just to encourage repetitiveness, I have just this to say regarding the watermarked photo: That logo is a watermark. Thank you.

EDIT2: I will say this though: The placement of the watermark is rather unconventional. Generally it's placed quietly in a corner or something rather than smack in the middle of the image like that. Its placement also makes it look like it may actually belong to the image (I know it doesn't, calm down). It is understandable. I never heard of the site either, and the name is something that would fit an internal "Sprint Feed", so...

Nope.

Invitations this week, 15th-16th

Announcement on the 20th or 21st

And the Phones will be out by the October 7 (it could actually show up on Sept 30), Sprint isn't going to black out the first two weeks and not get the phone till the day the blackout goes off, that doesnt help them at all.

Can't wait to see what happens this week. Hopefully Apple will send out the invites so we'll be one step closer to seeing what the next iPhone looks like and what carriers will carry it.

I have a good feeling that the blackout is for the Sprint iPhone. I've been a Sprint customer for 10+ years so this is going to be great for me.
 
I wonder when Nextel is going to get their own version of an iPhone. You know it will look like a brick phone. :apple:Nextel..lol
